An interesting community cook book from Hawaii prior to statehood, prepared by the Chinese Women's Club of the International Institute to raise funds for national and world support of the Y.W.C.A. In addition to the variety of authentic Cantonese recipes, a section on table etiquette and a list of ingredients identified by their Chinese names. A considerable number of local advertisements further enhance the taste of local color at that time.
