Original silver cloth over black boards, apparently issued in a slipcase not present here. This edition, common in institutional collections, is very scarce in commerce.
Questions have been posed as to whether these drawings were indeed by Beardsley, but I have not found conclusive evidence either way. Whatever the case may be, they are certainly curious.
